Mirch Masala 2 Go - S San Diego

We dined in on. Sunday night and ordered several dishes. The food was great, best Punjabi food I’ve eaten in San Diego. We will come back for chaat and the weekend specials.

This place is seriously understaffed and cannot handle the amount of customers. The cashier couldn't manage the situation alone and comes off as very rude. The prices are also steep for the quantity and atmosphere. The Pani Puri station was a rip-off.

We recently visited for the Mughlai buffet, and while the food was delicious, the overall experience was satisfactory. The buffet was not self-serve, so we had to request each dish, which was then portioned out very conservatively. On several occasions, we were asked if we wanted to switch to another dish, which made us feel like we could not fully enjoy our favorites. While I appreciate supporting small businesses and that is why I am giving 5 stars, I hope they reconsider the portion sizes and allow guests to enjoy the buffet freely even if that means to reduce the number of available dishes.

High price, Low quantity, Bad favor/taste/quality. Ordered the following: 1. Chicken 65 Ok 4/10 rating on taste like 7 pieces for 10 bucks 2. Pav Bhaji rip off on quantity worst on quality taste 2/10 worst PB in San Diego for sure avoid 3. Chicken curry had like 3 little finger size pieces rest is all Big onion pieces, Tomatoes, Bell pepper taste 2/10 4. Paneer ordered a Nan with it Got Paneer first and after 20 mins got the nan taste 3/10 5. Nan the only good item at this place compared to the other items 7/10. Service 1/10 Service is super slow 30+ mins to receive the order super slow and food came out out of order too. Went over a weekend evening there were 2 other customers thats it. Very Disappointed with this place. Avoid this place.

This is an awesome place. I went with friends. We tried both veg and non veg dishes and all of us enjoyed it. The taste was great and service is very nice. Strongly recommended.
