Bidra med feedbackThe inclusion of Greek dishes on the menu truly stood out to me. The restaurant has a spacious atmosphere, and the waitstaff were very friendly. I had never experienced steaming hot dolmades before, perhaps because I’ve never tried ones made with freshly prepared minced meat. I also enjoyed six haloumi fingers served with sweet chili sauce. The beef lasagna came in a 10x15 cm dish, which was a bit small. The cheeseburger was quite standard, with minimal lettuce, a slice of processed cheese, and a reasonable portion of deep-fried fries.
However, the highlight of our visit wasn't just the food. The owner, Christopher, took the time to chat with us. When we mentioned that we had just arrived in town and were eager to start exploring the next day, he offered to provide some suggestions. We eagerly accepted, and he spent about 20 to 30 minutes discussing the area with us. He even pointed out various locations on a large map on the wall. He crafted a personalized itinerary based on our interests, schedule, and the weather forecast. Christopher was amazing! We can't wait to begin our explorations and return to thank him before we leave.
The pan-fried trout was both beautiful and delicious. They offer craft beer from Sabie and serve Sabie coffee as well. The pecan pie is generous, served with either cream or ice cream. The back deck provides a lovely view.
What a fantastic spot with great food and reasonable prices! It's a must-visit when you're in Sabie. Thank you, Jolene!
