Black Duck Bakery And Grocery

Our daughter stayed in Sackville after graduating. (Hi Caity! The Black Duck is our go to place for coffee when we're in town. Coffee is wonderful, as are all the homemade treats. A great place to spend some time and unwind over a good cup of joe!

Adorable little cafe on the main drag in Sackville, and their Americano is seriously the best coffee I 've ever had. Everything is made fresh, and the quality and care is apparent. They even display a list of all of their local suppliers for everything from their coffee to their meat. Plenty of vegan, vegetarian, local and gluten-free options, in all combinations. I got a quack madam (adorable name! , and was pleasantly surprised that it was served on French toast-style bread and with a nice green salad. I wish they had a more substantial patio or outdoor space because it gets quite hot inside, but perhaps in time and with continued success, it will happen for them!

Just stopped here while passing through. They had a small breakfast menu, so my family and I went somewhere else for that, but everything they had looked good. I grabbed a coffee here, an americano because of the previous review, and it was some really great coffee! Nice surprise for such a small town. And it was Canada day, and I was so happy that it was even open. I'd definitely stop here again if I was passing through! Guy behind the counter was also very nice.

The chocolate croissants are great, as well as the peanut butter cookies. The brewed coffee is a welcome relief.

The food here never disappoints . Sit back, drink an amazing espresso and gaze at the garden...oh and great tunes. Stereolab for breakfast!
