Alaro Craft Brewery - Sacramento

We brought our puppy along and made a reservation for the patio. We were seated at a nice table in the back section, which turned out to be ideal. The patio was lovely, and both the food and drinks were fantastic. They even provided a bowl of water for our puppy, and he had plenty of room to explore without disturbing anyone. It was a wonderful evening!

The octopus dish is a must-try. It was a bit too loud indoors for our liking, but the patio out front was ideal. We did experience a bit of a wait outside when we were overlooked for a while—perhaps due to a shift change? However, that was addressed promptly and kindly. The seating outside is quite comfortable.

The menu may not be extensive, but the food is consistently outstanding. The service is prompt and attentive. There's a diverse selection of beers to cater to various tastes, and they are always top-notch.

Really relaxed and comfortable. Our server was engaging, attentive and responsive. He also did not smother us. It was perfect.

We have been to alaro many times and usually have a great experience. We know they are slow but that is usually OK because the food is worth it. This time, they were extra slow, taking 30 minutes from ordering to getting 2/4 entrees and another 5 minutes til the last two were dropped off at our table. The food was lack-luster. A burger ordered to be cooked medium was very well done, dry and chewy. The fish tacos were very bland. It wasn’t the waitresses fault but she also seemed very busy, as many are, and didn’t notice/ask about quality.
