Boudin Sf - Sacramento

My Turkey Avocado was missing. My favorite soup Butternut Squash was completely watery and tasted awful, and The Great Grilled Cheese with Bacon was dry (that could be from travel time) but the other two, very disappointed. If a company is going to do door dash, they really need to double check orders before giving tothe driver. My favorite spot has quickly changed into, I will never order there again

This was SO GOOD. bread bowls were soft and delicious on the inside, sourdough is excellent, and the equally delicious soup was a good portion and very filling. i got the Broccoli Cheddar whoch was very cheesy and not too much broccoli, had a bit of a kick to it so watch out. partner got Butternut Squash which i don't like but as a squash enjoyer they said it was a perfect fall flavour. i will say that for all the grilled cheese was good in taste, it was a bit over-toasted so the bread and some of the cheese at the edges were too hard to eat. not enough to lose a star on the rating because the bread bowls and soup were out of this world, but the toastie definitely could have been less overdone.

I love this place, especially their butternut squash soup is AMAZING, on which, when you add their app on your phone, you get a free bread sourdough every month, a $5.00 value. I always wait until the last day and picked Raisin Sourdough bread and pay the difference of $2,99, then sometimes at the beginning of the month for another free laaf?

Daughter works here and loves it so I'll give it a good rating. Haven't ever eaten here yet but familiar with the name...

I attended a working lunch meeting today. A variety of box lunches were ordered. Everyone's sandwich looked good. I chose the chicken salad sandwich which was good, the bread was especially tasty. Alongside the sandwich was a green salad, a bag of potato chips, and a cookie. The meal was more than I could finish in one setting. And it was actually good for a box lunch.If I'm the future I have to provide lunch for a meeting in the downtown Sacramento area I'll definitely consider Boudin.
