East Patio Mexicano - Sacramento

Excellent food and service. Nice place with a lovely patio.

My husband and I have visited East Patio a few times and have always been pleased with the food and service. However, our most recent experience has left us disappointed and we are unlikely to return. Upon entering, we waited to be greeted for a few minutes before a man approached us sharply and told us to sit wherever we wanted at a small table, without making eye contact. This was not a friendly welcome and made us question if we were wanted there. Our waitress was excellent, which is why we are giving a four-star rating. But the food left much to be desired. My husband's chicken taquitos were bland, and my carnitas enchiladas were undercooked with stale corn tortillas. Overall, Sacramento has better Mexican food options than East Patio. If you do choose to dine here, don't expect a warm welcome or delicious food.

The service was attentive and the food was excellent during our two-hour visit on a Thursday night.

Really good salsa! The chili relleno was excellent. Looks like a neat place to stop in for a drink too. I will stop by when I'm back in Sacramento

We dined outside and had to share our meal with flies, lots of flies! It's probably best to sit indoors, but the food and service were fantastic!
