Famous Famiglia - Sacramento

We visited this restaurant during a stopover and were in need of a quick meal. We ordered a spinach stromboli, a pepperoni stromboli, and a 10-piece garlic knot. I really enjoyed the strong garlic flavor in all the dishes, but it might not be suitable for those who don't like garlic. They use fresh garlic and lots of butter, which I found delicious before a long flight. The spinach stromboli was very cheesy and flavorful, and they even gave us extra garlic knots. My husband enjoyed dipping his pepperoni stromboli in their marinara sauce. I didn't try the marinara because I was worried about spilling it on my clothes, but the food still tasted great without it. The staff behind the counter were hardworking and friendly. Be sure to grab some extra napkins as you'll need them. Vegetarian options like vegetable pizza and spinach stromboli are available on the menu.

Whenever I have the opportunity, I always dine at this Italian restaurant in Sacramento International Airport because their food is excellent. On June 14, 2024, I had a pepperoni Stromboli, and just like before, it was delicious (although a bit expensive, but that seems to be the norm these days). This is my honest and impartial review!

It's rare to find someone who serves each customer with such dedication and grace, especially in the busy environment of an airport. Monroe, your ability to stay calm and treat everyone with kindness does not go unnoticed. Your attentive service truly enhances the travel experience. Thank you for being a shining star at SMF!

I got the news that I lost my best friend and had to fly out. I couldn't stop crying at the airport. A tall gentleman offered some comforting words and I will never forget. I stop by every time I'm at this terminal to buy pizza, even when I'm not hungry. I love this place. To the kind sir, thank you so much.
