Bidra med feedbackWe tried the chicken tacos and Korean buffalo wings, and both were excellent. The service was quick, and the atmosphere in the downstairs bar area was relaxed.
The food here offers a unique twist on American cuisine. A Koja is essentially the Korean equivalent of a hamburger, featuring a bun made from deep-fried rice. Inside, you'll find bite-sized pieces of chicken, beef, or pork, depending on your choice. They also offer a basket option, which includes a main course, kimchi, and steamed rice. If you go for a combo, you'll also receive criss-cut fries and a refillable drink. Additionally, there are several specialty fry dishes to choose from. Personally, I love the BBQ chicken combo, which is served on a metal tray. The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can opt for dine-in or takeout, based on your preference.
The customer service was quite good, scoring an 8 out of 10. The atmosphere also received an 8 out of 10, especially with the pleasant outdoor seating and the bright golden lights creating a lovely ambiance. However, the food was disappointing, rated only 4 out of 10. We ordered several different dishes for dinner, but unfortunately, all of them had the same sauce, which was a letdown. The fries were overly soft and lacked any crunch. The Teriyaki Zen was particularly disappointing; they ran out of regular buns that night, so we were served fried rice patties instead. We ordered two different types of burger buns but received two with the same meat. Overall, I'm considering whether to return in the future.
Stopped by Koja Kitchen for a late night meal.We ordered the short rib rice bowl combo (upgraded to umami fries for an extra $4). We also added a 5 pc korean buffalo wings. Food was all good and flavors was nice. My only gripe is that all the food was a bit hotter.Street parking only. You can definitely park in a parking garage somewhere. Not the best area in downtown. Next to Golden 1 Center, so just be careful of your surroundings.
Honestly, I was heavily disappointed of how much the quality of the food and guest services have gone down from this place. Especially the cashier/server that took our order. She was rude and not approachable!!! The chicken teriyaki tacos was bland and didn’t taste good, as well as the zen koja bun burgers. My wife and I had stomach irregularities after we left and we felt the food we ordered wasn’t fully cooked….all in all we had a bad experience!!
