Ray's Chicken And Fish - Sacramento

Always delicious. Always tender and fried to perfection. I have tried other fish places (Skips, Tugboat plus others) and Rays Chicken and Fish beats them ALL. Well fried fish is difficult to master but Rays Chicken and Fish knows how to fry fish.

Id been craving catfish for about a month. This is it, tender tasty inside, crunchy flavorful outside, came with a generous serving of catfish, fries, a macaroni salad bread and two dips. Definitely ordering from here again!

I use to love Ray 's it was one if my favorite fried chicken spots since they don 't have many in Sac. I recently went and ordered fried catfish nuggets and fried chicken. Fried chicken was on point however the catfish nuggets were so fishy smelling and tasting I had to toss them out immediately. Like I said I use to love Ray 's but over the last year or 2 it 's really declined. I will not be returning.

OMG!!!! I had Gumbo and jambalaya and catfish! When I walked in, I wanted one of everything! Just wonderful food, fast service, clean environment. Just perfect Southern hospitality. Nom, nom, nom, nom, nom! That's right! Five noms!

My first time here, great service and great food 100% coming back! Place wasn't that busy, it should be! Should be a line wrapped around this place. Good people that work there, cook is for sure on his game. Great prices! Happy with this meal. I'll be back 100%.
