Vino Volo - Sacramento

The sign outside the restaurant said "seat yourself," so I found a table on my own. However, I was disappointed that no one came to take my order. I ended up wasting time waiting for a glass of Pinot Noir.

I paid $20 for a margarita pizza that had a cold piece of mozzarella on a half-warm, thin, oily crust. I expected it to be better. The wine selection was decent.

I heard about the ham and gray cheese sandwich on rustic acidic and that's what I got.

Our experience was excellent. there was a long line at another bar in the same conversation. he tried the other bar, but the bartender just seemed challenged. left and found this jewel. many attentive staff. we ordered a beet and avocado salat and a margarita pizza. both good. big burrata on the pizza was cold, but I love not ruined. wein selection very good. we had a beautiful sauvignon blanc and an urban roots ipa. this place made definitiw the airport waiting more pleasant!

I sat at the bar for 2 hours and was only served 1 glass of wine. My glass stayed empty for over an hour and I was never asked if I wanted a refill. I had to finally ask for my check because it was time for me to catch my flight. Despite it not being very busy, one of the waitresses was preoccupied serving the web on her personal computer. I would expect the staff to prioritize serving customers in order to secure larger tabs and higher tips.
