Dwight's Of Saint Albans

Maybe it was a fuke. I love this place. Last time I had breakfast pork chop and it was so hard that it wasn't possible! Slept for the dogs.

Dwight's is a well-known restaurant in St. Albans. This restaurant is known for its local cuisine, is a mother and pop spot that is very popular. This restaurant was opened in 1993. In the 50s our family restaurants were called Adkins Fat Boy, after Mike's grandfather Benny Adkins. The first Dwights were opened in 1963 by Mike's father Dwight Messinger. Our family began in 1950 as a simple restaurant. Mike is now the third generation of a family that primarily owns mother and pop restaurants. Over the years we have many, many restaurants, but today there is only a Dwights restaurant in operation. Our restaurant is small with only sixteen tables, but our goal remains to offer our customers a good meal at a reasonable price. However, this does not mean that we compromise the quality. On the contrary, we guarantee the freshness of our ingredients and prepare everything exactly as you like it. We are a family restaurant with a tradition in food quality. Hidden Gem. Dwight's is probably one of the best treasures in the Kanawha Valley, 24-7 no matter what you want you have a place to get it. The chicken livers, turkey and dressing, ruben sandwich, all of it is just so good. This is one restraunt that I recommend to anyone looking for good home-cooked comfort food that wont break the bank!!

Great breakfast. Love Dwights. Great place for breakfast, which is separated 24 hours a day. The Ma-Maw's Omelet always loved me until my son convinced me to try the Tex-Mex Omelet. My husband loves the Husky Steak Sandwich. Daily specials have, Thursday night is pinto beans and fried pork chops. Often a steak and shrimp has dinner which is very good.

The food is excellent, but late night the drunks come in and destroy the atmosphere for everyone else, sometimes with verbal battles and fights. Mgmt does nothing about these spoilers.
