L'auberge De La Vallee

Excellent food, great setting and fantastic service. We were a party of four adults and two teenagers. The adults all had the €28 set menu which was great value and lovely food. The kids both had the Enfant menu which was steak hache and fries followed by an ice cream. Again, very good quality and value. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Hostile and unfriendly....did 'nt get as far as their food; table booked yesterday for 1930 today. Arrived to find restaurant closed with obviously 'thirsty ' staff sat at outside table. There 's a very good, very friendly auberge next door.

Very enjoyable and they were very accommodating in helping us with English/French translation. Good sized portions with reasonably priced drinks. Highly recommend the burger outstanding!! Go for the red meat options which seem to be their specialty. We were there for a relaxed lunch and drinks and enjoyed our meals. Worth a stop if you are there.

Having just moved to the area from the Tarn we went exploring and discovered this gem in one of the prettiet villages in France. Service was superb attentive without being over the top fast and we were able to look through our menus over aperos without being hassled. The starters were almost full meals in themselves the rabbit terrine was excellent with a calvados included to help it on its way. The main courses were equally generous and equally good. The kidneys in echalottes were excellent and cooked to perfection. The rest of the family had the skewers of prawn and the scallops and they too were tasty, just right, hot and wolfed down with gusto. Needless to say, the dessert course was amazing. Tarte Tatin, in individual portions, dripping with delicious caramel and set off with a creme fraiche which was heaven on a plate. An amazingly full cheeseboard of three local cheeses served with raisins and croutons and ace coffee finished off a memorable evening for us. Highly recommend and will be going again. Pricing was great for this standard of food you won't be disappointed we loved it ...

Great! fast but not too much service, date quality and not too salty. We had a good lunch
