I have been coming to this restaurant for more than ten years and keep coming back. The menu is occasionally updated, but the food is consistently good and the coffee is always generous. The real charm of Crooked Tree is its atmosphere. It has everything you could want from an independent coffee shop - cozy, comfortable, with friendly staff and reliable Wi-Fi. Whether you are a student, professional, or just meeting friends, Crooked Tree is the perfect place for you.

I had an excellent breakfast and latte at this restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy, with just the right amount of space, and the prices were very affordable.

The restaurant is family-owned by college students who came together to help during COVID-19. They reorganized their space to accommodate outdoor dining on the terrace until autumn. Their coffee and chai lattes are amazing and the prices are better than chains. They also offer a wide variety of healthy and delicious icy fruit drinks. I haven't eaten much since COVID, but my favorite is a chai latte with a zimtrolle or speck, egg, and cheese on a roasted croissant with extra speck. The restaurant used to be located near Lindenwood University, but they moved to a new location on First Capital Drive a few years ago. The renovations were worth it as the customers now have more space and a better overall experience. I highly recommend trying Crooked Tree, their takeout options are great too. They prioritize social distancing and cleanliness, making them a top choice in the area.

My family loves Crooked Tree. For breakfast the oatmeal pancakes are my favorite. My spouse’s favorite for lunch is the turkey with curry dressing on a croissant. There coffee is great as are their drinks.
