Discovered during a semi-professional dinner, we had a very pleasant evening. The decor is very beautiful. The library just makes you drool with envy. A chef titled Maître Restaurateur and listed for 2 years in the prestigious Gault et Millau. Portions at the right size and dishes well presented but above all very good. I recommend if you are passing through or on site! Not necessarily suitable for all budgets but once in a while, it doesn't hurt to do yourself some good!
Looking at the comments we said to ourselves: Why not try... and we came away with mixed feelings. Friendly welcome and professional service without fuss. Nice setting for those who like old things but it lacks refreshment regarding the tapestry and the old-fashioned paintings. It's a shame that the floor was covered with PVC strips, which clashes with the frame as well as the LED candles. The menu cards are very dirty from being passed around from hand to hand, although it would be enough to laminate them. The library is superb, the terrace is nice, but the iron tables are small and impossible to slide your legs on.....too bad, so we prefer to dine inside. We took the guest menu for €28 which on paper is very appealing...(see photo) Risotto is not really a risotto, it is more a very cooked rice without much flavor. veal nuts....overcooked I left it and settled for the puree with the carrots (excellent accompaniment) Pana cotta very good To summarize it is not worth €28 per person but not more than €15.
Very nice evening warm decors and delicious digestif was good thank you and soon for another feast
