Mackinac Fudge Shop - Saint Ignace

I feel the taffy was a bit old as it was so hard to chew. Lots of nice little souvenirs. Cute little place.

They use the highest quality ingredients in their fudge, candy, caramel corn and cheese corn. You can taste the difference! Our favorites.: Chocolate covered cashews, maple nut, chocolate fudge, cheese, corn and caramel corn Mackinac mix.

The fun bags of popcorn outside were a hit with my kids. They made some great photo ops. Inside was a variety of candy, sweets, fudge, and gifts. They had a little clearance area with some Christmas items I was all over. The taffy was bountiful. So many flavors to choose from! The chocolates were good, too. The fudge was ok. I prefer a different brand of fudge and this one was a bit dryer, but my husband liked it. The service was excellent with very friendly staff.

Who doesn't love pick-your-own-local- Taffy, chocolate seafoam, chocolate bark, fudge and real butter popped popcorn??? My friend and I made this our destination so I could visit the U.P/ cross the bridge for the 1st time with limited time to travel farther while staying on Long Lake. It was amazing and delicious and The woman who runs the little shop is amazing!! There's also a SUPER cool local goods shop next door. Please celebrate delicious local owners... visit, but stuff and share your awesome experiences!!
