Bidra med feedbackIn our continued search to explore the local coffee scene in Vancouver, we found ourselves a while back at Pallet Coffee Roasters East Hastings location. This is both a café, tasting room, and roaster. They also have two cafes located on Kingsway and Knight Street and another location in Kitsilano at W Broadway and Maple Street.
The coffee is very good! It's a smooth roast with a lower acidity but a slight bitter aftertaste. I'd definitely come back for the coffee but not the food. I ordered the bruschetta avocado toast and the avocado was brown and the eggs were over done and cold.
One of the best coffee shops in east Vancouver! Well exterior and interior designs! Settings can be found inside the outside the cafe. If you are sitting on the upper floor, you can see how their staff make sandwiches or their food, take orders and make coffee. <br/ <br/ We ordered a latte, flat white and classic French croissant. They were excellent! When we were eating the classic French croissant, we wanted to order more addicting to their food. Their latte and flat white were very good that they had their own character, style and flavour. We really wouldn't mind to drink them every day! <br/ <br/ If we would be in the same neighbourhood, we must have come back to try other coffee drinks and food/pastries. Unfortunately they were sold out of their almond croissants when we got there at noon!
Pallet Coffee Roasters in Vancouver’s East Village neighborhood 323 Semlin Street is a full service coffee bar with freshly made in house sandwiches and baked goods. It is just around the corner from Basho Cafe. The high ceiling space is gorgeous with pallet boards and waterfall dangling light bulbs.
[07/20/2015] I purchased a Groupon deal for Pallet Coffee Roasters a while ago but never got around to using it until I realized it was expiring soon.. So, I called up my foodie/health/blog buddy Naomi and we went to the cafe together for a Monday breakfast. Pallet Coffee Roasters is tucked away in a quiet residential area near East Hastings St. We went early in the morning, shortly after the opening hour, and there were already a couple of customers in the cafe. More and more people started flowing in as time past, I guess it’s a good place for those who live around the area to just grab and go and morning meal before work.
