Hotel du Nord - Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne

Have eaten there a couple of times. Always consistently superb. Only critisism is that they were closed for ho;idays last time we tried to book.

C'est la seconde fois que je viens manger à l'Hôtel du Nord.Le cadre est agréable,rustique,la vaisselle très belle,en particulier la grande assiette de présentation.La cuisine est vraiment un plaisir des yeux,des papilles,surtout les entrées et les plats principaux.Je recommande vraiment cette excellente table.

We make a point of breaking our journey here on our way to and from Italy, expressly to have dinner at this restaurant. The owner is the chef and he prepares a most delicious and fabulously presented 4 course menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. The...cost is 28 euros and the standard has not varied over the past 14 years if anything it keeps on getting better! This is the fine dining you always hope to get in France but rarely get nowadays.

We enjoyed lunch and dinner at this wonderful family run restaurant. In our two weeks in France this was easily our favorite restaurant.

This place is a restaurant with some rooms instead of a hotel with restaurants. that makes it a unique experience: eat here, it is just delicious, and then take the elevator away to a renovated space and dream. it is a great place....The restaurant is by the way top notch.
