I called that number six times, and no one picked up! According to Google, you weren't busy at the time, so why wasn't anyone answering the phone? I'm really hungry!
I recently started ordering online from this location because of their specials, and while the initial orders were fine, my last experience was completely unacceptable. One evening, I picked up two pizzas, and when I got home to entertain my guests, I discovered that the second pizza was gummy, undercooked, and had a piece of hair in it. After my guests left, I called the store to report the issue. The manager on duty that night, who apparently gave me a fake name, was extremely rude. Instead of helping, she suggested I call the customer care line, but I insisted on bringing the pizza back for a remake. She told me the store was about to close and to call back the next day. I did just that and spoke to a different manager, who told me to bring the pizza in anytime for a replacement. As a traveling businesswoman, I couldn't return until today. Upon my arrival, the manager informed me that she couldn't replace the pizza due to the date. At that moment, an older man, who wasn’t in uniform, started to confront me and escalated into a verbal dispute. He yelled at me, claiming that no managers with the names I provided worked there. Although I considered the possibility that I called the wrong store, I remembered how rude the first manager had been and how I had threatened to report her. The fake name she had given me was actually my own, pulled from the online receipt. How appalling is that? The man continued to yell, questioning why I had eaten part of the pizza. I explained that whether it was the first slice or the last, debris on a pizza is unacceptable and warrants either a refund or replacement. His behavior was so outrageous that other staff members had to intervene and take him to the back of the store. I was furious at this point. I asked the manager for both the customer care line and the general manager's number, as well as her name and the name of the man who had yelled at me. She denied my request for their names and told me to leave the store. When I asked for the owner's name, she claimed that information was confidential too. Clearly, this location is trying to cover up any wrongdoing. So, I left with my bad pizza, no names, no refund, no replacement, just a number to complain to a store I had issues with, and a note to call the owner tomorrow after 5 PM. I couldn't make this up! I will NEVER return to this location. I'm extremely disappointed by the poor customer service and the management issues, not to mention the staff not wearing hair nets. I've never dealt with someone in plain clothes yelling at me from behind the counter, expecting me to just accept it. This experience has been worse than any other customer service incident I’ve had, even while working in financial services. I would give this place zero stars if I could, but I had to give it one just to post my review. **UPDATE:** This morning, I called to confirm the owner would be at the store after 5 PM. I spoke with a manager named Zack, who, after confirming the owner's presence, abruptly stated that Imo's doesn't give away free pizza. I was shocked and reminded him I had paid for my product. He then rudely suggested I speak with the owner and slammed the phone down on me. When I called back to ask if he indeed hung up, he confirmed and hung up again. On my third call, a different person picked up and claimed, “Imo’s, we’re not taking orders,” which was simply untrue since it was almost noon. I expressed my hurt over being hung up on multiple times; this was about more than just the pizza now—it was about the poor treatment I received. He then accused me of harassment and threatened to call the police. UNBELIEVABLE! I'm just trying to find out about the owner’s hours while being insulted and hung up on, and I’m the one being harassed? This level of unprofessionalism is shocking. I wouldn’t be surprised if Zack has some sort of protection that allows him to behave this way. Tonight, I plan to record my visit. If the staff is this unprofessional, I can only imagine how aggressive the owner might be. I need to protect myself in case I have to take legal action against them. I'm still in disbelief!
Incredible salads! The service is friendly and attentive. Since they prepare everything to order, the food is always fresh and appealing. Although there may be a slight wait for hot dishes, I really appreciate the freshness. The location may not be ideal, but it's always worth the visit! I will definitely be returning.
The restaurant has permanently closed. They had great pizza and excellent service. This was the only Imo's I ordered from, whether for delivery or pick-up, and it was always good and hot. I never had any issues. I particularly enjoyed their extra sauce and extra cheese, and I only ordered fettuccine pasta. It's unfortunate that they're closed now.
