Grand chalet favre is one of the rare cozy places of st. luc, a charming Swiss alpenresort, embedded in the bergen above the Swiss Rhône Valley. the grand chalet favre was renovated by the owners who also own the hotel bella tola. with exquisite taste, it turns into a comfortable small boutique hotel. the restaurant is great and probably one of the best in st. luc, although a bit expensive, as the norm everywhere in Switzerland. this is said that eating is great and very beautiful presented at the teller. the facility is cozy and warm, the personal friendly and professional, although somewhat stiff when it comes to the time of the day. it is always puzzling to say that they have to order quickly because the kitchen is short to close. I can't stop thinking that if you run a restaurant business especially in high season in a holiday place, the kitchen should only close if there are no more customers. the business should be too good. Therefore I did not have 5 stars: the main stock of the restaurant is its terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the val d’Anniviers, which alpen and the matthorn. eating out is a real tasty bite!
Nice friendly service, warm atmosphere do not exaggerate Swiss sujets and good eating. the meals are prepared from the ground, so ready for some waiting time. go to the heather tart!
