Pauly's Cafe - Saint Marys

The ribeye steak is amazing! The service is outstanding too. It's a great place for locals to come together.

I used to enjoy visiting Pauly's at St. Mary's, but I was thrilled to find it open today after it had been closed during my last two visits. I sat at the tiki bar like I usually do, but I couldn't help but notice that it looked messy and neglected since Hurricane Matthew hit in 2016. After having three beers, I left feeling quite disappointed.

This restaurant was unsatisfactory due to its cleanliness issues, slow service, and warm soda. We also encountered bugs and unwelcoming staff, and we experienced long wait times. Additionally, our plates had stains on them.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! I ordered the Twin Tournedos, and I can't emphasize enough how delicious it was. My friend opted for the Primavera and enjoyed every single bite. It's a small establishment, but the flavors are outstanding!

This cozy little spot is slightly off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth seeking out. Just be sure to bring the exact change!
