Bidra med feedbackBright, colourful with nicks and crannies to rest and relax for serious cocoa, tea, coffee, and comfort food. “Comfort” here means tasty and created with the necessary creative insight and craft. There are board games if needed or just relax into a breakfast or other meal. You order with your phone and it comes directly to your table. …not at all complicated; groups can order/pay separately and it still arrives at the right table). Superb bakery items along with a range of meal selections. Any questions people are generous with their time and focused on solving any request or problem.
I went to this restaurant for a croissant and cappuccino. The counter I sat at looked clean but was actually sticky. I waited 15 minutes for my cappuccino, but they took my table plaque away without bringing me my drink. I had to ask for it again, and when I finally got it, the milk was over-steamed and whipped, resulting in a scalded foam mountain on top of the coffee. They recommend leaving a tip before receiving any service. The croissant was the only thing that was acceptable in my experience.
Stella Belle and Cafe Astoria share the same building. Cute brunch place located in downtown St. Paul. You scan order with your phone and they'll bring your food out. Food was delicious. Service was good.
The best time to visit this restaurant is in the early morning before it gets crowded. If you want to have a quiet time to chat with friends, it is best to come early as the noise level can increase quickly. The menu offers unique and refreshing options that are not your average fare, perfect for spice lovers. The specialty here is the coffee, which is beautifully made. The highlight of the menu is the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes, a must-try dish. The restaurant is kid-friendly but can get cramped during busy times. There is only one small bathroom with potentially long lines. Overall, it is recommended to try the pancakes as they are worth the visit.
The food was amazing but i am not a order on your phone, pay on your phone kind of person. That is the one reason I will not go back. If I am going out to eat I want a server and personal service with a menu I can see. I know it seems to be the new way, it is not for me. I went with a group of 4 people and having one person pay lead to us spending too much time figuring out ordering on one phone. We missed out on time we could have spent visiting.
