Placed an order last night 5:04 for pickup and was told 30-40 min. Arrived at 530 and told them I was a little early, paid and sat to wait for order. I was being very patient, I know many places are experiencing staffing shortages these days. At 6:10 I went to counter to ask them to check as it had been over an hour at.this point. Soon after order was brought out. I could not have been more disappointed when I sat to eat the order of tortellini, noodles were stuck together no sauce and cold. Very disappointing to sit and wait over an hour and then have to throw it in the trash!!
We ordered delivery from the this restaurant. Ordered a deluxe pizza and added olives. Got a pizza with olives only. First option was to wait another hour for delivery, not worth the wait or effort. Second option, they 'll just keep the money and credit the next order. That 's never going to happen, I can tell you that much. Thanks for the $17 one topping pizza Cecil Whittaker 's. Buyer beware!
What a shame to see a local icon go so far down hill! As a 20+year customer I ordered my family some dinner for take out. When it came time to pay the bill it was about 20%more than the advertised price on this site! When I asked about then I was told they where NOT responsible for googles mistake and the manager is too busy to talk with me !! That I should just pay the bill . So I payed my price gouged bill and took my cold (as they had my food just sitting on a counter NOT under a heat lamp) food home. What great example of how not to be. I would like to recommend a new manager!!! Maybe one with people skills and maybe some I.T. capabilities!!! Response to the answer to my original post Yes, I received the Monday discount (50% off) ,but the discount was applied to a higher than advertised price. If you know there is a problem with online pricing you should either be prepared to honer the wrong price as a (atleast one time) Courtesy or fix the problem on line. Being snippy with customers is probably not the best policy. By the way I watched my pizza sit on your counter with my salads on top of it for atleast 10 min before it was handed to me. I left your building with warm salads and pizza disgusted with the poor service I had just received! That 's NOT how you make repeat customers... when the incident happened there was no one in your establishment that had any doubt I was done wrong just at the customer service level not even bring up why.
Always reliably great food, from BBQ (underrated Stumpy's BBQ), pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and wings. A staple to any area, and this Cecil's is top notch for service and quality among all of them. Best value for the money, deals and specials that are unbeatable. Place is a hybrid of Italian food and continental American food. Only 3.99 for hearty kids meals that offer variety and balanced nutrition. My family always leaves full.
