Mas - Saint Simons Island

Outstanding food, had the duck noodles, shrimp and grits, pork skins and cornbread.

I love Ember. We started with baked Brie with cherry balsamic jam. A little too much vinegar in the jam however bread and Brie were delicious. I had the Florida strip steak and my daughter had the snapper. Both were delicious. My steak was huge and cooked a perfect medium rare. Enough steak for 3 meals. The strawberry basil cocktail is one of my favorites. Wine list is good. Austin is a great bartender! Staff is courteous and professional. I am also a fan of the sister restaurant Mas next door.

Went in open minded and ready to try everything and try we did. The freshness of the food and quality was outstanding. Not a thing on the menu I wouldn't try. The presentation was top notch. I would absolutely eat there again if in the area. I might be a little partial seeing that the head chief was me high school sweetheart. Thanks Mary for treating us to a great culinary experience. Loved it.
