La Petite Derive - Sainte-Maxime

We had the €15 three course set menu, which was excellent in both quantity and value, especially considering the town we were in. We sat outside in a pleasant narrow street next to the market square but inside was good as well.

We went there and waited 3-4 minutes before the waiter who was doing nothing started paying attention to us. We ask for the menu since there is nothing telling you what you can drink there. He answered that he hasn't any menu and tell us our choices. We take beers, water and sodas. The the bill came up. Every drink was €4.10! Event the water.That's why there's not menu because if he had, people would know before ordering that he is a thief.Don't go there. There are plenty other options in Saint Maxime that aren't rip-offs.

Pleasant atmosphere and pleasant environment. Good cooking, I took the gambas, the sauce was excellent. the price a little expensive...24 euros but not disappointed with the dish. I recommend. more limoncello offered
