The restaurant is severely understaffed, leading to chaos at the bar, which was designated for hot drinks only, but there were no signs to indicate this. We were directed to the other side of the bar, where we faced a 20-minute wait just to place our order. It seemed like there wasn’t much food available, but we decided not to stay any longer to find out. It was a disappointing experience for Boxing Day. What a shame. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Completely disappointing. I've visited this restaurant many times in the past and have always had a decent experience. I came in for a Boxing Day walk, as I have previously, and it was a mistake. The inside was absolutely freezing, with no heating at all. In the past, there has been a lovely fire that created a welcoming atmosphere, but that was not the case this time. It was actually warmer outside than inside. While a staff member did clear our table when we requested it, it was not cleaned. We had to wait over 15 minutes in line at the bar, which was clearly understaffed for Boxing Day. When we tried to order food, everything we wanted was unavailable, but we were only informed of this after waiting in line for a long time. Overall, the place feels run down and lacks adequate facilities. Save your time and don't bother coming here.

Went for a music event. Its a destination pub and required walking through mud and water, but that happens on a flood plain Price per person: £1–10 Atmosphere: 4

Went here for a quick pint in November Heating wasn’t working very chilly However staff were great and the beer was excellent Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
