Captain Dusty's Ice Cream - Salem

The ice cream was good. Prices are on higher side for ice cream. The frappe could of been made thicker it was large cup for $7+ dollars. Soft serve machines only had chocolate ice cream when we went. They take cards.

Zero cookie dough pieces in the cookie dough ice cream. Husband ordered a mudslide frappe and got a vanilla milkshake. After making the trip up here from Boston because we wanted to get good ice cream outside the city, we were really disappointed.

The shop is small, but the service was quick. Good prices for the sizes. We definitely got more ice cream for the sizes than we thought we?d get. There was a good variety of flavors. I liked that they put topping on the bottom of the cup as well as the top of the ice cream. It was a nice touch. The workers were nice. There are a couple of benches to sit on just outside the shop.

Excellent ice cream establishment. Great assortment of flavors and quick service. I definitely recommend the cookies and cream. Hope this helps!

Reminds me of the color scheme from the 1975 World Series! Good stuff!
