T-bones Great American Eatery - Salem

I visited T Bones for the first time and had a great experience overall. The staff were excellent; the hostess was very welcoming, and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was efficient and delightful. Unfortunately, the chowder didn’t leave a lasting impression. My husband and I found our entrees to be just okay, but our daughter ordered the mac and cheese, which I must say was absolutely wonderful—definitely a 5-star dish! I also loved the warm bread that accompanied our meals. However, I wasn't a fan of the dining room's atmosphere; it felt a bit dated, and the space between tables was tight. The view outside was just a busy road, which didn't enhance the experience. Overall, we had a nice dinner with a price range of about $20–30 per person. Food: 4 out of 5, Service: 5 out of 5, Atmosphere: 3 out of 5.

Cheers to the manager Meganwe went in the other day with my parents and sister about 3:00 for a bday lunch. It was quietwe ordered and were all talking etc when we realized we had been waiting for 25 minutes with no food or drinks yet. At this point we were the only people in the restaurant! The manager came over and explained they had a problem and our order didn’t get back to the kitchenshe graciously apologized and offered us complimentary apps for the trouble. I was the only one that indulged.when our food arrived she offered us a $50 GC for all the confusion. This is a prime example of a manager turning a big problem into a positive! We really will be back and appreciate the excellent customer service!!
