Chungs Chippy - Salford

This is the best place in Salford, no doubt about it. I was born in Salford and moved away many years ago, but I still come back to watch my family grow and to get my fix of northern/Salford food.

The salt and pepper chicken are to die for, as are the soft noodles. This is the best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time. I would rate it 10/10.

I visit this restaurant about every two days and the food quality is exceptional. I have never been disappointed with any dish I've ordered. The curry sauce is probably the best I've ever had. If you're in the area, be sure to give it a try!

We ordered won ton and hot and sour soup which was tasteless and Luke warm.The Sui Mai’s we’re cold and had to be heated up as were the chips.The beef curry with no onions has lots of carrots with chunky mushrooms and peas with very little beef.All of this came to £21 and was very poor overall.We only live a five minute walk away and we’re offered a 10 per cent discount and needless to say we shall not be returning.
