Jims Country Style Chicken - Salina

My new favorite chicken ever hangs down. how I never found this place, and the chicken strips were plank. was great to meet and talk to the owner

Excellent country fried steak, chicken fried steak, and chicken fried chicken. The price is excellent as well. Parking is easy. Place is clean, restroom is quite clean. The seats are comfortable, and the feeling of the restaurant is good. What is the most important thing is the food and the restaurant delivers very well. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We stopped in here last night, Sunday. We were traveling on the way back home to Michigan. It was about 630 so since we found your place on the list of best places to eat in Salina we wanted to try it out. OMG!!!!! You were so busy that we were not sure if we had time to place an order cause it was getting close to closing time. But we got to place our order the lady apologized saying that the chicken was about 15 or 20 minutes out because they had gotten a big to go order. We were good with that so we sat down to wait. Looking around at the people that were eating already we could see that they were enjoying what they were eating. We have been on the road traveling from Michigan to Northern California and Oregon Yellowstone to here looking for a place just like yours!!!!!!! We got our food and it took us back to when our Moms would fry us chicken, this is absolutely the best. And we appreciated the way you made us feel right at home. The 2 ladies are so adorable , you treated us like we came there all the time thank you for that!!! Oh and the homemade icing, the lemon and orange was just right. I only have one thing that could be better if you were in Michigan close to us!!!!! LOL. If anyone has never been here you need to get in quickly and see what you are missing. Cause you are not going to get anything better. Thanks for being you, Trish and Steve

Their country fried chicken and chicken fried chicken are very good!

Ordered a special, chicken fried chicken. Came with 2 sides, and was a great portion size. Plus the service was great. Only downside was the salad options, it looked as if it sat out all day without any coverings.
