Ravintola Töölönranta - Sälinkää

Graavi lohi puuttui joululounaasta kokonaan! Kinkku melko mautonta.

The restaurant clearly aims to offer a fine dining experience but falls a bit short of that goal. I had a three-course dinner; pumpkin soup, mutton roast and crème brûlée with marinated blueberries. All courses were made with quality ingredients and the presentation was good but the overall taste was a bit flat and the portions were small. Longish waiting time for the starters left a vague sense of letdown. Not great, not terrible. With some fine tuning, this place could be great!

Interesting concept where you buy a 1/3 of pike-perch with artichoke with 24€ and if you want potatoes you pay 5€ extra.. not to mention 4€ for DISTILLED tap water per person.. Taste of the food was good and a lovely terrace but I got a feeling that earning profits was the most important value for Töölönranta restaurant.

Ihanaa, että Töölönranta on avattu uudelleen tauon jälkeen.

Ystävällinen palvelu, hyvä ruoka, mutta autollisena vähän vaikea saapua.
