Barrio - Salt Lake City

First time here. Food was tasty. Service was fast and friendly. The serving of sweet corn in a cup seemed small to me. Prices have increased from the menu posted in another review.

Great restaurant, atmosphere, and service! I was happy to find out they had vegetarian/vegan options and we were also able to order a veggie burrito. Street corn was incredible same with the margaritas! They also have a fun little salsa bar.

Barrio was very good! I?d been told that I needed to try their jalapeño poppers, and boy was that recommendation spot on. They were super flavorful, a little spicy, and the ranch dip they came with was fantastic. I tried their steak, carnitas, and chicken mole tacos. The steak and mole were very good. Carnitas was a little dry. With getting an appetizer I would have been find with just two tacos. I give it four stars only because it?s a tad expensive for tacos. With

I was shocked with how fresh and flavorful this little Mexican joint is serving up. I love that they also have a beer/cocktail menu. I will be a regular for sure. I dream of the street corn in a Cup.

The service was great so that’s why I gave this place 2 stars! It truly deserved no stars but the server was what carried the experience cause the food was not great and to bring it all together, me and my family got food poisoning. There were flies everywhere (we sat inside).We ordered 3 nachos, chips and guac and 2 kids “quesadillas.”The tortillas/tortilla chips they use at this place are low quality. You can tell by some of the photos other ppl have shared. The food isn’t well seasoned.The kid’s quesadilla is basically their cheap corn tortillas and colby Jack? MICROWAVED! not even put in an oven or pan fried. Microwaved.We ended up sharing our nachos with our kids since they didn’t eat the quesadillas.I should’ve taken photos of our food as well as the flies but I didn’t get the chance to.Unfortunately, we won’t be back.
