Chile-tepin - Salt Lake City

Unbelievable slc Mexican food. When I went to our table, I couldn't help but notice the incredible dishes on the tables. We ordered a Margarita (delicious) and the Mocajet. We also ordered the huge plate. Everything came with shrimp, steak and chicken. The sauce in the Mocajete should die. It was a green tomatillo sauce with many cactus and grilled onions. The tortillas were also fantastic. I can't think of enough good things to say about this place. I hope to return soon to try more dishes and bring more friends. If you try something new in Slc, stop here ASAP.

Had a nice time here and a great dinner. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Silvia was our waiter, she was so friendly and attentive. Will be back, my partner and I loved it.

By order. I think this will be the last review I do that I give five stars when a restaurant makes my order wrong. We ordered shrimps Fajitas - no onion, cheese or sour cream. They gave me sour cream, but no guacamole. I asked for Maistortillas, but I got flour. Luckily I ordered a page of Guacamole and we had campbought Mais Tortillas at home (not the same). My husband got Carnitas with corn tortillas, but instead flour was given tortillas. The food I ordered was good, but it's very disappointing if you don't get what you ordered.

Really good food and had a great time. I was a little salted when I called earlier a week and asked if I could make a reservation. The person on the phone said we don't take reservations for every day. First aid. I had a party of 6.. we went for her as it was a little early at 5:00 thought we were best better to beat the rush. we?ll I come there and was told that they are all reserved. I explained the situation that I thought you could? You said you could, blah blah blah, and the mgr brings us in 30 minutes. I'm glad they did this, but was upset that we weren't told that they never did?. Food was great, but it must be training for the front-receiver players.

This place gets busy on weekends. Your whole party must be present to put a name down for a table. Some just come prepared. The services was great but the food was underwhelming. I was a bit disappointed because all the reviews rave about the food. The food wasn?t bad just not really authentic. Overall it was a great experience though.
