Chile-tepin - Salt Lake City

Had a lovely dinner here!! Was on a little bit of a budget, so I was super happy to have my fiancee and I leave full!!! very tasty- the taco salad and chimichanga were great

Some of the dishes were fantastic. The tostadas, refried beans, and enchiladas were all delicious. However, I wouldn't recommend the tacos. The corn tortillas seemed to be store-bought, possibly from Costco. While they weren't terrible, there are other nearby Mexican restaurants that make their own. Additionally, the tacos were heavily dependent on guacamole, lacking flavor in the meats. It would have been nice to have had drink refills and extra napkins, but we didn't see our server for 20 minutes after our food was served.

This restaurant was phenomenal!! Can't say enough great things. We were trying to decide on a place for dinner among the many mexican cuisines available. We stumbled upon this gem, and man, am I glad we did. Restaurant was super busy, but our wait was minimal. Fresh chips and salsa kept coming by the sweet lady there. The server was nice and attentive! We enjoyed mocajete some guacamole. It was all so delicious!!!

The food was way too greasy and not tasty at all. I would not recommend for anybody that is looking for fresh great mexican food.

This place takes pride in their service, food presentation, and food taste/flavor. Their rice is amazing and their salsa is delectable. I would definitely recommend their chicken fajitas and salads. their I’m always wary of places that call themselves authentic Mexican restaurants but this place is it. I came here with about 12 people for a work luncheon and everyone enjoyed their meal. The waiters are friendly and care about their customers and the atmosphere is clean and bright. If I could give 10 stars I would. The only con is parking. You may need to pay for parking.
