Iceberg Drive Inn - Salt Lake City

I ordered a chocolate hot fudge shake, expecting it to just be ice cream and hot fudge sauce. I was a bit disappointed to find that it came with peanuts. I visited the restaurant on February 14th around 8:30pm through the drive-thru. I do not have nut allergies, but I had recently undergone oral surgery. I had a coupon that I redeemed, and I also purchased an extra shake for my husband. Both shakes are currently in the freezer until my mouth heals and I can eat nuts again. The person who served me was a younger, stocky man, possibly Hispanic or Filipino.

Great atmosphere with a nostalgic feel, and the milkshakes are huge! One of the rare places where I enjoy the fries.

As someone visiting from another state, I had high expectations after reading reviews of this restaurant. The Boysenberry Shake was excellent! I ordered a regular size, which would be considered SuperSize where I come from. However, the Zucchini Fries were disappointing as they were hard in the middle, cold, and had soggy breading. The Krab Ham and Cheese sandwich was missing the cheese. Despite these issues, I highly recommend trying the Ice Cream Shakes. If I had only ordered the shakes, I would have given this place a 5-star rating.

Iconic place with sky high shakes. If you’re going to go, this is the location you want. It’s the OG.

One of the few times it wasn't crowded. Very helpful and considerate staff. Will definitely return.
