Yans Teesalon - Salzburg

When we entered we were greeted by two Chinese people. They might be Brasilien citizen but spoke Chinese and I started to wonder. Also from the kitchen I spottet a Chinese cook and was a bit surprised as I expected authentic brasilien food. There is...no menu as the staff expects one to know there is only buffet style with starter, main dish with different type of BBQ meat and dessert. The starter buffet was ok, not too exciting for a set menu price of 29,90 €. Among the starter was a cucumber salad which remembered me to the Chinese food I had during my China trips. The main dish started with the a small piece of chicken and a small shrunk sausage which looked like it was left over from lunch time. After this the known Brasilien type way of serving different BBQ meat on a skewer accompanied with chips of Maniok sort of potato and SURPRISE ! vegetable with Chinese oyster sauce which didn't go at all with this typ of food. Now I know what the Chinese cook was doing there. The meat tasted all the same marinade with some strong garlic taste on the entrecôte for my nose the meat didn't smell very good, but this could be my sensitiveness . We didn't wait for the rest of the food, asked for the dessert BBC Pinnacle with honey and left. For us it was very dissapointing and a waste of money. BTW, the Chinese veggies were not too bad.

I tried this place out with my family in June 2016. I really wish we hadn't bothered. It felt a bit dirty, unappetizing and the staff came across as very disinterested. The food was by no means as good as we had in several other...places in a Salzburg. The children just fancied a change and so we went along with it and had one of the worst meals that we had while holidaying in Austria.

Eine sehr angenehme Gelegenheit, nicht nur köstlichen Tee zu kosten, der von einer echten Kennerin serviert wird, sondern auch gut zu essen. Besonders das Frühstück "Good Morning Asia" ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Wer entspannt authentischen chinesischen Tee trinken möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Großartige ruhige und authentische Atmosphäre. Ein Platz zum Verweilen
