The Famous Samford Patisserie & Cafe

This place has gone downhill lately. I am a local and have been buying their pies and pastries for years and just bought sausage rolls that look so old and gross and taste awful, and custard tarts that had far too much nutmeg on top. Not to mention the young lad that served me put the hot food in the same bag on top of the cold custard pies and melted them.

Located in the center of Samford, this charming café offers a wide variety of options in both savory and sweet dishes. One great feature is their large selection of gluten-free options, which are conveniently separated from the rest of the menu. The coffee is also quite good.

There is a wide variety of cakes and slices to choose from, including impressive gluten-free options. In addition, there are savory options such as pies, triangles, and Turkish sandwiches, also available in gluten-free versions. The coffee is equally fantastic. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff. The prices are reasonable.

Living in England with family in Samford Valley, I wanted to send a Birthday Cake. Anthony was really helpful and delivered a beautiful cake just as requested. Everyone is very Happy! Thank you!

We visited this patisserie last weekend on October 9th and it is one of the best we have found in a long time. The variety, presentation, quality, and professionalism of the young staff make this patisserie one of the best in Southeast Queensland. The cakes we tried were the best we have had in a long time. It is a shame we live on the Gold Coast, as otherwise, we would be buying their cakes every day. We ended up spending more than we had planned because it was so good, but we enjoyed every bite. Congratulations to the owner and staff!
