Black Cat - San Andreas

Very cool mood, the personal was very welcoming and made everyone feel seen and care. delicious eating and amazing services.

We have bad seats behind the bar so we couldn't see the show. people who didn't have any intentions talked so that they bothered. Maybe they could see a TV monitor in the opposite place where people can't see and at least they can see the screen instead of talking? the music in the upper floor and during the set changes was sooo loud, we could not hear talking. we had to scream. I thought the prices for a glass of wine were too high. it was terrifying to go from our car to the club, but we made it safe.

Great music of traditional and emerging artists in an intimate, jazz club scene

This was the first time where the service didn’t meet the rest of what Black Cat has to offer. The young bartender upstairs with the broken arm was rude and short with my girl. She ordered a glass of wine, and I had a coke. The bill came out to over $40. Seems like a lot for a $24 glass of wine and a $5 coke. When she asked to see the bill, he become defensive and was quick to point out that the “consumers have to pay for our healthcare so we can live too.” After looking further, he also included a mandatory 18% gratuity. I know it sounds like I’m complaining over $11. Which is not the case. It has more to do with the rudeness of the individual and how he chose to address the situation. I spent over $70 for our seats for the show and went on to spend an additional $325 for dinner. All together that night was over a $400 night in a down economy and the least a consumer can expect is good service when your customers are there for a good time. We were completely nice with everyone there. I visit the Black Cat 4-5 times a year. This time was highly disappointing.

A pleasant surprise! First time visitor. Great show by Keyon Harrold!! Food was tasty though a little pricey for what we got. Atmosphere extremely nice and chill. The bar scene upstairs was different, would have been nice to really check it out, but had to run. Will definitely come back again!
