Bidra med feedbackVery good American comfort food diner. The food is delicious, the portions are fair, and the prices are reasonable. This is one of the few family restaurants that do not price gouging and cutting on quality and portions to maximize profits. The atmosphere is as you would imagine 50 years ago. Service is very fast and friendly, even during lunchtime. Tried Sunday turkey dinner special, soup, salad and dessert. The chicken soup has a lot of chicken and is very good. The blue cheese salad dressing is full of blue cheeses and seems homemade. The turkey was very delicate and juicy, and the filling was surprisingly very tasty. The roasted chicken breast meal was also very good, with a great delicious juicy chicken breast with the perfect amount of dough to make it crispy, even if drowned in the severity. The coconut cake was very good and not excessively sweet. We will definitely be back to try the chicken pancakes. Update: Got the Chicken Pot Pie meal and Wednesday Roast Beef meal. Both were excellent. The pancakes and banana cream cakes were very good, not excessively sweet and filled with fruit. Update: Return to Turkish dinner and Chicken Pot Pie meal specials. I have the chocolate cream Pie and the Coconut Cream Pie. Everything was excellent. Update: Got the Friday Meatloaf Dinner special. We usually have low expectations of the meat of the restaurant, but that was excellent and not mostly filler. It tasted great. We also have the cherry cake. It had a perfect sweet and tart balance and an excellent crust. Everything's delicious here. Update: Got the Thursday Sirloin Tips Dinner Special. Very delicious. The blueberries and the pecan pees. Both were excellent and not too sweet. Another excellent dinner. Update: Got the St. Patrick's Day Dinner Special and the pumpkin cake. Everything was very delicious. Update: I have the turkey dinner specials with cherry cake and coconut cream cake. Everyone was excellent. Our server, Virginia, is the best. She not only took the complicated orders of our table without writing them down, but answered questions and made recommendations in between. We received everything 100% as ordered. She also checked several times to make sure everything was okay and asked if we needed something. Update: Have the baby back ribs especially. Drop the bone delicate and tasty! Update: Got the turkey dinner specials with coconut cream cake and peach cake. Excellent as usual. Update: Got the helped chicken special and coconut cream pie. The skin on the chicken was perfectly crispy and the chicken was very tasty and juicy. Update: Got Sunday turkey dinner special and chocolate cream cake. Both excellent.
It's a cool place worth trying. The world-famous pancake meal is great. Add your own spices as you want or do not add at all and enjoy.
This is the famous chicken pot Pie shop in San Diego. The food is incredibly cheap for families and for couples and for singles. Atmosphere is always welcoming and their dinners are extremely tasty. I ordered waffles and chickens. It really has a family feeling, the place has a house welcoming atmosphere. There are parking almost anywhere in the block, including the intersection mind you that some of the parking spaces look like they are so aware of at other apartments. They have lunch outside and pickup.
When we first came in the table wasn?t very clean but the food is amazing and the prices are reasonable! The staff is very nice and friendly! Definitely coming back again! Love all the cute chicken decorations in the restaurant!
Great comfort food. I went for the chicken pie dinner. The pie crust was soft and chewy in a good way and the meat inside was very well cooked. I went for the chocolate cream pie for dessert, the biscuit base and chocolate cream were both delicious. The reason it is not 5 stars is that I think the vegetables and mash could be better
