Bidra med feedbackA nice and warm place to have Korean food.Highly recommend the pan fried yellow fish. BBQ short ribs are great too.The owner gave us a complimentary tofu soup to entertain us.
I loved this restaurant was here dozens of time’s previous. But came on Memorial Day and it was terrible. The servers skipped over us in line to help the Korean customers first. The food was also terrible no flavor and undercooked. Also had toAsk repeatedly for items such as egg for tofu stew. Not sure if I’ll try again. Really sad since this was my go to for Korean previously came weekly.
Big portions, tasty and manageable for my non-super spicy food loving family. Friendly service, and they brought a free bowl of soft tofu soup! Yum! Not fancy, a good neighborhood eatery. 3 of us ate our fill plus lots of leftovers for $130 out the door.Food: 4/5
Korean food isn't centralized like many Chinese or Japanese restaurants in San Francisco, so each place is like a gem in its own neighborhood. Muguboka Restaurant is no different in the Richmond, with its delicious offerings. Even on a weeknight, people are waiting outside for dinner. In our visit, we started with the Kim Chi Jun and Mool NaengMyeon. Kimchi pancakes are my favorite Korean dish, and these are stellar- filled with fresh kimchi and fried moments before they arrive at your table, these fritters are among the best that I've ever had. They're a perfect way to start a meal, and perfect to wash down with some Hite. Now, it also might have been 60 degrees outside, but the Mool NaengMyeon (which has ice cubes in it) was so delicious and nicely spiced when you add the mustard to it. With some fresh noodles, it's refreshing even in near-winter-like weather. We also tried the Sam Gae Tang, and I've never had a soup quite like it. A chicken stuffed with rice in bone broth is the ultimate comfort food, and it's clear how much effort and labor goes into this dish. It's one of their more expensive items, but if you could taste how delicate yet flavorful this soup is, you'd completely understand how much care and experience is placed into this chicken. It's amazing, and we'll be back for it again.
Great food and even better customer service. Waited an hour because of some tables that lingered to talk. The hostess/cashier was very kind and after taking our order, gave us complimentary japchae for the wait. Also ordered seafood pancake, tofu soup, bulgogi, and chicken, all of which were delicious. The meat was incredibly tender. Only complaint would be the flavors could be a little stronger
