Bidra med feedbackI came here on a first date and it was quite memorable. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We ordered the seafood shellfish stew, and a few other side dishes It looks like the place has since closed, but happy to have been brought here and have tried the restaurant.
Had the pleasure of being brought here to experience the last night of service before they close down and I enjoyed it. The staff is like family as I watched dozens of customers hug and kiss hello. The owner was present and greeted guests as they entered. The mood was bittersweet as this establishment has been here for many years and it shows as people wait in line to dine and say their goodbyes. Food, cocktails, and the vibe are amazing. Permanently closed down
Superb service from the wait staff. Ambiance allows for good group events and conversations. Ordered the stuffed peppers as an appetizer and itbwas delicious. Main course for me was steak and it was good. Dessert was chocolate cake and it did not disappoint.
Piperade was the excellent choice my fiancé and I made as we arrived for a weekend getaway in the Bay area. The ambiance was super classy, the bartenders were on point with their impeccable service and drinks. Piperade was super cozy, yet classy and elegant. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, as we enjoyed their Calamari a la plancha, stuffed peppers, and then moved on to the Duck Leg Confit. My fiancé ordered the lamb chops, and must I say they were exquisite. If we love being catered to and love a super classy ambiance Piperade is the restaurant of choice in San Franciso.
Piperade is a hidden gem in North Beach. Located away from the hustle and bustle of FiDi and Columbus Ave., this restaurant is a great spot for a cozy and intimate feel without having to sacrifice quality. The restaurant has a range of seating options from bar seating to tables that can fit a large party, as well as a private room. You will not feel rushed when eating here, as we took our time with cocktails, appetizers, our entrees, then dessert. Some highlights were the Terrine (Warm Sheep's Milk Cheese and Ham, Aged Sherry) and the Braised Pork Cheeks. The Amerikanuak cocktail was an elevated version a Moscow Mule, and the Basquerak was extremely smooth.
