Rebelle - San Andreas

The wait for our food was longer than anticipated, with our entrees taking over an hour to arrive. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, but she was overly aggressive in trying to upsell us on side dishes. The price of the meal did not seem justified by the quality. The presentation of the dishes was underwhelming, and the cast iron steak lacked the expected crust. The whole shallots served with the steak were confusing and did not enhance the dish. The waitress spoke highly of the fries, but they were mediocre at best. The tartar lacked acidity, and serving the octopus on a bed of beans seemed out of place for a fine dining establishment. While the lobster king crab was cooked perfectly, the overall experience fell short of what is expected from fine dining. Ultimately, the high prices seem to reflect the ambiance and location more than the quality of the food.

I must return! The food was amazing! The char-grilled oysters were fantastic and the suggestion to dip our bread into the butter they were drizzled with was a brilliant idea. We both ordered the fillet mignon with pasta and butternut squash as side dishes. The atmosphere was cozy and trendy. We had a table overlooking the main area, and Brennen was our waiter. The only complaint I have is that the knives provided weren't great for cutting the steak, so I had to use my own. We got the key lime pie to go, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I plan on coming back to try something new. We also took advantage of the valet parking, which was complimentary with dinner.

We had a fantastic anniversary celebration at this restaurant. The east coast oysters were delicious, the tomahawk steak (which was not on the menu) was flavorful, and my wife loved the lobster. Despite being full, we couldn't resist trying the crème brulée and key lime pie for dessert, both of which were excellent. The staff was very attentive and made our anniversary night feel extra special.

I had dinner with my parents at Rebelle, and was very satisfied with the meal and the service. Our water was Liv, and she was very friendly, attentive, efficient and full of knowledge about the food being served. The food itself was very tasty and sowere the cocktails. What surprised me a little was the absence of cappuccino that we could order. Other than that, thisrestaurant is a solid choice to have dinner at.

We always go to Rebelle when we want to celebrate a special occasion. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. Everything we order is always presented so beautifully and then when you take that first bite it takes our breath away everytime. Then thereis the wine collection, there is so much to choose from and if you need help pairing your wine with your entree they are sohelpful and nice enough to suggest what goes well together. The waitresses and the manager are so knowledgeable in wine, thetaste and feel of it, where it came from, and food pairings. The ambiance is very romantic when eating by candlelight with amixture of classic and modern for the decor. We will definitely be going back for our date nights and special occasions. Everything is impeccable!
