Calibri - SAN CARLOS

We had steaks, one was the filet, and one was the rib eye. both excellent and many flavors cooked to perfection. will go back. the service was before place, no complaining about everything.

We love the skinny vegetarian pizza with its pesto base, also they can order their own, with or without cheese, and a lot of ingredients. the outside area is perfect for sitting in the shade and diving their favorite drink while waiting for your pizza to cook in the wood stove.

I've been coming to colibri for several years. it was years ago a friend restaurant and alex took it over and he has made an amazing job, he immediately made it to be and further expand. my favorites are the thin...Kruste pizzas and of course the filet. the personal she treats like an old friend, in which did some of them. they will not be disappointed here, so if they visit or live here, they should be sure they come!

I visit San Carlos at least once a year and am always on the lookout for a new restaurant. In June I visited with a good friend and tried their rib eye steak WOW! so I returned with my husband in October I insisted...on going there again. Although It was a Saturday night very busy the manager, Alex, really bent over backwards for us. Not only did he reserve the last rib eye in the house for me, he also went out of his way to arrange a small table towards the back of the outside patio so we could be further away from the live music. (Which was very good by the way we just wanted a quieter spot. While waiting for our table, we sat at the bar and ried a Colibri their signature drink a lovely aqua color (my favorite! and with blueberries in it! Not sure what the alcohol content was (think it included rum, but it was lovely! My rib eye was cooked perfectly rare the side dishes were tasty, too. My husband had chicken which he also very much enjoyed. The atmosphere was inviting, food was great and the servers knocked themselves out to wait on us. If you visit San Carlos, don't miss your chance for a great dining experience!

In spite of COVID-19 restrictions, we were able to make reservations for one of 2 available indoor tables. Our filet mignon steaks were cooked perfectly, even my rare one! Our server accommodated us by taking pics of our group of 3, including selfies with him...masked. The restaurant staff was kind enough to refrigerate the birthday cake (tres leches) until time to serve. They are doing a great job, even with the pandemic Mexican rules in place for restaurants. We will definitely return to this wonderful restaurant in San Carlos.
