Paradis Ice Cream - San Clemente

The taro ice cream flavor here is amazing, lots of other flavors that are vegan and gluten free!

The icecream was one of the best I've had, no crystals, super fresh and creamy. And just the right amount of sweetness.

Delicious handmade ice cream. It's soft and creamy like gelato. Ate there twice in one day. Very good... I would definitely come back for more.

Avenida Del Mar has so many dessert options I was in a bit of frenzy deciding where to go. In the end, I was torn between South Swell Hand Dipped Ice Cream and Paradis. My kids wanted ice cream in a cup and we ended up at Paradis.First off, the smell of freshly made waffle cones was incredible. I don 't know if they can make a cologne or candle that smells similar, but it is so rich and sweet. If you 're even debating going here, walking inside will cinch the deal!Paradis offer testers and they even use tiny metal spoons. This is huge bonus for parents with picky kids, like me, and a rarity since Covid-19 ruined almost everything in food and dining. We had mint n chip, coffee, and chocolate and all were amazing! AMAZING!! TRIPLE UNDERLINED AND ALL CAPS AMAZING!!!No offense to the awesomeness that might have been at South Swell Hand Dipped Ice Cream, but we are stopping here on our next trip to San Clemente! Mediocre ice cream served much too warm. Tried a half dozen flavors between my partner and I and they were all just average. Priced a bit steep at $13 for two small ice creams. At least the service was good.
