A's Pizza Grill - San Diego

Broadway Pizza has great food and recently I came to know a lot more has added to the menu and hours of operations are twenty four around the clock and they offer the yummiest breakfast in town. This place is my number one choice:

What a let-down. I have been going to Broadway Pizza for years. I was a bit turned off when a friend of mine said she saw a cockroach or two scampering around when she was dining about a year ago. Having worked in the restaurant field-I know how pesky bug control can be and I didn't think too much of it until recently. A co-worker took on a second job there. It wasn't long before she quit. She said the conditions were deplorable. Not only were there cockroaches, but there were mice. To top it off, the pizza area was under the bathroom that leaked all over the prep table. COME ON!?!?! This is disgusting and appalling! Neither I nor my husband has been back since. I can't believe that they are unable to take care of unsanitary and contaminated conditions!? I will never go back-unless I see some BIG changes. Go dine there if you want to risk your health!

Awful Food I felt compelled to write this review because my wife ordered this disappointing pizza for my daughter's birthday, and it was a huge letdown. Pizza Hut must have significant profit margins when they charge customers extra for such subpar food. I genuinely pity anyone who opts for this during what should be a lovely vacation.

This restaurant serves the worst pizza I've had in San Diego. It was excessively salty and made with low-quality ingredients. The crust was worse than the cheapest frozen pizzas you can find at 7-Eleven or the grocery store (in fact, 7-Eleven's pizza is both cheaper and better). The crust was uneven and undercooked, while the cheese tasted off. A good pizza crust should be doughy and flavorful, but this was anything but that. I ordered the “works” topping, which is supposed to be their specialty, but it was just mediocre and left me feeling unwell. To top it off, I was overcharged by more than $8 with no explanation provided.

We waited 40 minutes for our pizza, which ended up tasting awful. The sauce was acidic and the crust felt like cardboard. To top it all off, we were overcharged on our debit card. Overall, it was a terrible experience!
