Harry's Coffee Shop - San Diego

I'll miss Harry's coffee shop more than any restaurant here.... We came to breakfast twice in the last 4 days!!!! This is my dad's favorite place when he... I understand why. The atmosphere is so nostalgic and full of warmth and great energy... The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly.. Note to Phyllis and Dorie... the best servers ever!!!!... Oh, yes... and the food is from this world. Pancake and bacon have never tasted so well!!! Love you all.... as you can see that you are part of my Facebook profile and cover photos!!!!

Both the food and service were excellent!!! Wide variety of delicious looking menu options...can't wait to go back and try the chicken fried steak on top of a waffle!!

It started with a wait of about 20 minutes or so. It was too cold to eat outside, and warm weather would've lessened the wait. I loved the cafe mocha and the food was awesome! I had over easy eggs, hash browns (delightful), sour dough toast (yummy) and sausage links. We forgot to order the cinnamon roll! We'll have to go back! The sweet hostess was adorable and oozing personality! We loved our waitress and left a great tip!

This place has been here since 1960 and it looks like it hasn’t changed a bit since then. A wonderful and authentic old school diner experience amidst the expense and pretense of La Jolla.

My first experience with the BW Benny today and did not disappoint !!! It was sweet , savory and ridiculously delicious !!! Can't wait to try some other things on the menu . Old school coffee shop feel , with a flare !!!
