Mystic Mocha - San Diego

We stopped in to get morning drinks. I got a cold brew, my partner got a vanilla Italian soda. It was busy but not overly so and we were able to sit outside with our drinks. Visually, Mystic is looking great, fresh paint even on benches, tidy and nice decor. Service was cordial and timely. My cold brew was not as good as I hoped, perhaps because I didn’t peak clearly enough and the server thought I asked for oat milk when I asked for whole milk. When I requested more I learned they have 2% and half and half cows milk. I should have requested vanilla syrup as their choice of sweetener is white and brown organic sugar and Stevia, which I don’t prefer. The Italian soda was good and we enjoyed talking outside with our drinks. I haven’t had food here since the ownership changed, but the dishes coming out looked good. Ww will definitely come back.

Love the coffee, amazing HUGE breakfast sandwiches. Staff is very friendly and such a nice area to sit out or to work on a laptop.

Loved the different food varieties and chicken and bacon sandwich was awesome .

Might be the best breakfast sandwich on earth. Guy Ferrari needs to check out this spot STAT. Also friendly staff.

I just moved in next to this wonderful little coffee shop and Francis and the gang have made me feel right at home. They just remodeled and it's super spacious and open, the blues look great, and the bar area adds a great social area to sit and meet my neighbors. The food is beyond reproach, and the cookies will be the wonderful death of me.
