Bidra med feedbackThe pizza was excellent, the perfect size for my wife and me to share without needing to take any leftovers home. Although it's a smaller venue, the atmosphere is really nice. We chose to sit at the bar to catch March Madness, and the service was great. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try!
I called to place a takeout order and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the woman on the phone was. Despite the bustling background indicating a busy kitchen, she didn’t rush me at all. I ordered the Point Loma with added sausage (next time I think I'll try adding cheese and leaving out the scallops), the gnocchi tricolore (which featured perfectly tender scallops, a bold sauce, and delicious mushrooms), and the tiramisu (it was standard—neither the best nor the worst I've had. I would have liked a stronger coffee flavor in the ladyfingers). Overall, everything was excellent. I still think cheese on the Point Loma would be a nice touch, and I chose to skip the clams because their flavor was a bit too strong for my taste. One of the best aspects of this restaurant is the great value; the quality of the food and service is impressive for the price, especially in comparison to other Italian restaurants in Little Italy. Based on previous reviews, I decided to go with takeout, and I have no regrets about that choice. The atmosphere tends to be loud, with many families and large groups dining in.
We ordered four pasta dishes: rigatoni, penne, tortellini, and orecchiette, and everyone loved them. The rigatoni al forno sauce was particularly delicious. The house Chianti was also quite enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!
This was a nice place. I enjoyed the pizza, but slightly undercooked. I'd consider going back
