I’m not part of the cancel culture—rather, I think it’s important for employees to be reminded to express gratitude towards the customers who support them. A small gesture like saying 'thank you' makes a big difference. Additionally, I found that my soup was missing the shrimp, Cotija cheese, cilantro, and tortilla strips. In previous visits, I’ve really enjoyed their National Taco Day, and I appreciated the friendly staff and attention I received then.
I really enjoy this location; it's far superior to the El Pollo Loco on Badillo, which is quite disappointing in comparison. I encountered a couple of issues here, like receiving the wrong dish, but they typically resolve mistakes quickly if you bring it to their attention. Occasionally, the card machine malfunctions, so if you don't see anyone in the drive-thru, it's likely that they're only accepting cash that day!
