Bidra med feedbackThe meals come with rice (you can get brown rice for an additional $1), two side salads, and a generous serving of raw shredded cabbage. There are three or four different types of side salads, so it's always a bit of a surprise what you'll end up with. However, I always crave the bean sprout salad and make sure to request it as one of my salads. Other options include cucumber, carrot, or cabbage salads, each with its own dressing and unique flavor. My favorite main dish is the Soy Crepes, which are filled with cooked cabbage, mushrooms, and carrots, all wrapped in tofu skin and topped with a delightful sauce. When I’m looking for something lower in fat, I choose the Imperial Veggie Rolls or Cabbage Rolls. For those friends who might be skeptical about vegetarian food, I highly recommend the Veggie Balls. My friend’s son, who typically eats junk food, loved them and even thought they were fish sticks! My boyfriend, who usually prefers meat, enjoyed the Potato Pockets, which come with cheese—hard to go wrong there. I've tried nearly every dish on the menu and have rarely been let down. The banana almond dessert seems to be a favorite among regulars, although I wasn't particularly impressed. I may be in the minority on that one, so you might want to give them a shot. I would skip the steamed vegetables dish, as we can all prepare that at home. For a treat, the Abalone Mushrooms are absolutely divine. Even the meat lovers at my workplace rave about them and are astonished by their meaty texture. Often, they’ll serve you a complimentary cup of tofu vegetable soup while you wait for your meal. Now I'm really tempted to make a trip to Veggie Tea House tonight!
I absolutely love the food at this restaurant. Every time I dine here, I feel healthy and energized. They offer brown rice as an option if you prefer it to white rice. You can choose from four different sides, and each dish comes with two of them. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are fantastic.
