Gram Cafe Pancakes San Francisco

This is a unique type of Japanese restaurant. The dishes are a bit different than the ones we have tried in Japan, and other Japanese restaurants here in the Bay Area, but I'd say with an authentic flair that makes them different, and delicious. It's worth going back to sample more of their menu. We did go back today, for s second round. Did not disappoint. Parking can be a tat difficult, because they are in a mall. But, one finds parking eventually. If in a group, carpool is recommended.

Was walking in the mall, and had to stop by Gram Cafe to try out the special pancakes that look super fluffy/bouncy.The Food: Since it was my first time here, I had to get the original flavor flavor Premium Pancake. The pancake was delicious! Super airy and fluffy, the original flavor had a nice and sweet custard in the middle. It was a nice and light snack.The Service: Service was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Orders got out to us in a timely manner as well.The Atmosphere: Very nice area to lounge or just to grab a quick bite. Plenty of seating and the whole place is clean.Overall, a 5/5. The pancake was delicious. Great for a quick grab and go snack.

Love this cute little cafe in the Stonestown Galleria shopping center. We went on a weekend and there was about a ten minute wait for two people. I’m sure it could get long since it seems pretty popular and the location is not too big. We tried the coffee and matcha dalgona. Very good! The matcha was not too sweet and very smooth. The premium pancakes are about a 30 minute wait but totally worth it. We tried the strawberry pancakes and the matcha creme brûlée pancakes. Both very fluffy, jiggly, and delicious! Definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in the area.Now for my standard comments. Location is kept very clean and seating is nicely distanced. Employees are all wearing masks!Parking: The cafe is in a mall so there is plenty of free parking in the lot.

I have been dying to try a Japanese Fluffy Pancake so I HAD to come here. The atmosphere is just perfect. Staff are super friendly. A bit expensive overall but when very few to none sell this dish I get it.The wait times are rough, about 50 minutes to get the pancakes. But they are made and delivered TO ORDER to be the peak freshness so, again, I get it.We did order the curry bento box and an appetizer which came much sooner so that was a great way to kill time.Curry Wow, ok not what we came for but one of the BEST curries I've ever had.Pancakes Words cannot express, these are. Absolutely. INSANE. Seriously melts in your mouth, just pure fluffy buttery deliciousness. The classic 3 stacker and the crème brûlée were both perfection. I dream about getting a chance to eat these again.

The wait is somewhat long and inconvenient, but my girlfriend and I got in at a good time. The cold pancakes and tiramisu are really thick and creamy, so we didn’t really like them. The hazelnut soufflé pancakes were pretty but I think they were overhyped. They tasted more eggy but were soft.
