The shrimp grit is sooo good. Mac and cheese is special and tasty. Excellent southern soul food. They offer very special green sauce which really goes with everything. Met the chef Karla, such a talented person. A hidden gem and must try for foodies.

Terrible customer service. I've been trying to go to this restaurant for days and they said I needed to make a reservation which I did and they confirmed my reservation on a day they're closed for a huge event. Ridiculous and unorganized. Lady hosting event wouldn't even let us get into the door to talk to the manager to figure out other options. This ruined any other dinner plans we could have made because everywhere else was closing around the time we made the reservations. Never considering this place again.

The place is amazing. A truly hidden gem in the FiDi. It just started opening every day. It's now called Incantations by Voodoo Love. The vibe is awesome and the chef is truly the queen of the kitchen.
